Yes, we think more funny Christian movies are needed, but the meaning behind the movie is much deeper. The message of the movie is to show that even though we may be completely different on the outside, in the end we believe in the same thing and that should unite us.

LOG LINE

A modern, young pastor from NYC becomes the new lead pastor of a small traditional church in the Deep South, his will to fit in is crushed by the to him greatly opposing world views of the people he meets.

Simon Wesely is a Producer and writer with a strong focus on visual storytelling and character-driven narratives. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Los Angeles Film School in 2023, graduating as one of the top students of his class. He later expanded his academic foundation with a Master’s degree in Digital Filmmaking.
Together with his brother Joshua, he founded Wesely Bros, where he leads the creative direction of the company. As Creator and Producer, he shapes the visual language, emotional tone, and narrative structure of their films, while also contributing significantly to the writing process.
Simon and Joshua have produced five feature films to date, generating more than 15 million views across platforms. Their projects take them around the world — from Africa to the United States to Germany — capturing authentic environments and stories directly on location.
As a full-time filmmaker and entrepreneur, Simon develops new concepts, and drives the long-term creative vision of Wesely Bros.
Joshua Wesely is a producer and writer with a strong foundation in leadership and creative development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and later completed a Master’s degree in Digital Filmmaking, adding a professional production toolkit to his academic background.
Together with his brother Simon, Joshua has co-written every film and project produced by Wesely Bros. Their collaborative approach shapes the narrative structure, character development, and thematic direction of all their work.
At Wesely Bros, Joshua serves primarily as Producer. His responsibilities include organizational management, coordination across all departments, budget and schedule oversight, and ensuring smooth execution from pre-production through delivery. He also leads the casting process, working closely with actors.
Joshua’s strengths lie in structured planning, clear communication, and turning ideas into executable production workflows. His role bridges the creative and operational sides of filmmaking, ensuring that each project remains focused, efficient, and aligned with the brothers’ shared artistic goals.
