About Us

A Filmmaking Family With a Purpose

WBFF is created by Wesely Bros, a Christ-centered film company led by brothers Simon and Joshua Wesely, who’ve been making narrative films together since 2020. Their first feature reached millions of viewers worldwide, and to date their films have impacted over 20 million people across platforms with stories of hope and faith.

From the beginning, Simon and Joshua believed God calls young creatives into film — and that strong faith and artistic excellence should go hand in hand. WBFF exists to support that calling, especially for rising filmmakers who feel led by God but face the real-world challenges of industry norms and Hollywood expectations.

What makes WBFF special is its foundation in real filmmaking experience. It’s not an event run by event planners — it’s built by active producers who understand the craft, the industry, and the spiritual journey of creative calling.

And this isn’t just a brother thing anymore — the whole family is in it now.
Their wives, their kids (yes, even the babies get a shout-out), their parents and their sister — everyone’s part of the vision, bringing skill, support, and heart to every project.

WBFF is more than a festival — it’s a family-driven, Kingdom-minded movement for the next generation of storytellers.

  • “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

    Proverbs 27:17

  • “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

    Galatians 6:2

  • “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.”

    Hebrews 10:24–25

  • "Every detail was thoughtfully executed. We're thrilled with the outcome."
